Colossians 4:2-6  (HCSB)
Speaking to God and Others

2 Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the message, to speak the mystery of the Messiah, for which I am in prison, 4 so that I may reveal it as I am required to speak. 5 Act wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. 6 Your speech should always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.

Susan Jones

What is the focus of our daily prayer life? Do we actively pray for opportunities to share the Gospel each day?  boy, I know I don't. I'm normally focused on my own selfish prayers for safety, provision, and thankfulness for blessings I have received. I know on days I do pray for opportunities to share Christ, I usually have one come up. Funny, huh? Verse 4 says "as I am required to speak." We have the same requirement as Believers today that Paul had while he was sitting in prison. He found a way to share Christ from a jail cell...surely we can find a way today while we are going about our day in total freedom. Join me as we try to "make the most of the time."  v.5. I challenge you today to pray for an open door for you to share the message! Let us know what happens!!
