Welcome to Temple’s 2022 Bible Readings and Study Guide. The information you hold in your hands is very powerful. First and foremost it is the Word of God; secondly it is your Connect Class lesson for each week; and finally it is a deeper discussion that you can have in your men’s or women’s group. I know that each person will use this document differently but the greatest tragedy is not to use it at all.
Our Sermon Series for the year will be “2022 Whatcha Gonna Do When He Comes for You”? It is a catchy phrase to remind us that Jesus is coming again and the people of God are to be found faithful in the work He has left us to do. James tells us “to be doers of the Word and not hearers only”… so we have to know God’s word and apply it to our lives. This quarterly will provide you the opportunity to study His Word and gives you ways to be prepared as you come to Connect, Worship, and as we encounter people along the way.
Happy New Year Temple…. may God bless us as we are not “hearers only but doers”… obedient to His call until He comes.
