Psalm 139:13-16  (HCSB)
13 For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made.  Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well. 15 My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.

Pastor HD Jones
It was not until 1956 that we could peer inside a woman’s womb to see an unborn child with an ultrasound machine.  Before then the womb was a great mystery to many and the thoughts of life being formed in the womb was hard to understand and yet scripture speaks to it specifically.  David knew that God was the reason for his existence.  I sure wish more of our world understood they were knit together by God.  I believe it would make us think more highly about the value of a life.  Today we are too quick to abort a child because the parents don’t want to be inconvenienced; today we are too quick to point a gun and pull a trigger because we forgot this isn’t a video game; and today we treat our children with gross neglect as so many are the victims of sexual abuse.  You have heard me say this before but let this sink in…. You are no accident!  If God is the God He claims to be then you are created in His image for His purpose.  People may have used you, abused you, or abandoned you but that was never God’s intent for your life.  He saw you when you were formless and He was “hands on” in your existence.
