Matthew 19:13-15 (HCSB)
Blessing the Children
13 Then children were brought to Him so He might put His hands on them and pray. But the disciples rebuked them. 14 Then Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to Me, because the kingdom of heaven is made up of people like this.” 15 After putting His hands on them, He went on from there.

“...the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Sounds pretty good to me. I want to be in with that bunch! Be sure to teach your kids how important they are to the kingdom. You might want to take a moment to share this passage with them as you read it. Let them know how Jesus esteems them. Becky, Jason, and their volunteers do a great job with our kids...once or twice a week. It’s up to us parents to provide our children with consistent prayer, teaching, forgiveness, grace, guidance, love, support, discipline, and blessings. There's a great big world out there waiting to offer them plenty of alternatives.
