Jesus typically hits us in our most vulnerable spots. This week He has talked about marriage, finances, and pride. Why is living as a child of God so difficult? Once we are saved it seems like we should be instantly better but why does it take so long to become like Jesus?
In the garden of Eden what was God’s purpose for marriage? How has that purpose been undermined by our current culture? How about your marriage, does it honor God? How can we do better at being a good example for others?
What is the balance between the possessions of this world and our relationship with God? How do you figure out the proper way to deal with possessions? Is it bad or wrong to be rich? How can we strive for success and still not dishonor God?
