Mark 4:30-32 HCSB)
The Parable of the Mustard Seed
30 And He said: “How can we illustrate the kingdom of God, or what parable can we use to describe it? 31 It’s like a mustard seed that, when sown in the soil, is smaller than all the seeds on the ground. 32 And when sown, it comes up and grows taller than all the vegetables, and produces large branches, so that the birds of the sky can nest in its shade.”

How much faith do you need for God to hear you? How much faith do you need for your prayers to reach Him? Faith as small as a mustard seed? What happens when that faith is nourished? It grows - grows into something larger and stronger than we could ever imagine. How does this faith grow? Time spent with Jesus in His Word, in His presence, and in prayer with Him. As we seek Him we will find Him. As we find Him we will continue to seek Him more and more. As our prayers are answered and we do more of His work, our faith will grow beyond what we could imagine for ourselves.
