Philippians 4:8-9 (HCSB)
8 Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise—dwell on these things. 9 Do what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

Marliss O'Neal
Paul continues with the encouragement on how best to face the anxieties and struggles of our lives. We should dwell in that which is true and right and praiseworthy. We should be feeding our minds each day with all the goodness of God, His promises, instructions, and His faithfulness. When we do this regularly, it will not only strengthen our walk but will be a witness to those around us. This also helps us combat the lies and hopelessness the Enemy throws our way each day. He wants us enslaved to our worries and doubts but when we combat them with the truth of the Lord, we can find truth and rest in His promises. We can rest in His presence and be strengthened by it.
