QUESTIONS FOR THE WEEK
  1. Ephesians 2:1-10 contains some deep theology. Verses 8-10 speak of the eternal security of a   believer.  Do you struggle with the idea that salvation is free and forever? Do you ever serve because you feel guilty? On the flip side, believers were created for good works – where do you love serving?
  2. The following section (2:11-22) speaks of level ground at the foot of the Cross. The past few years were heavy with social, political, and racial tensions. Is there anybody you would struggle to worship with – any group, any political affiliation, any race?  Why? How can you work on seeing them as Christ does?
  3. We often think of Paul as a “super-Christian.” Part of his strength came from a willingness to bow before God (vs. 3:14). Once he condemned Christians, here he prayed for their strength as a fellow brother. Who is God calling you to bow in prayer for? Do you believe God can do more than you even ask for (vs. 3:20)?  How can you strengthen your prayer life?
