Ephesians 1:20-23 (HCSB)
God’s Power in Christ

20 He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens — 21 far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of the One who fills all things in every way.

“Our God is so big, so strong, and so mighty there’s nothing our God cannot do.” Paul writes in these three verses praises to God showing His great might by describing the resurrection and detailing the specifics of Jesus’ place beside Him and all the power He encompasses. As Paul explains, the same power in which God uses to bring us, His followers, to our calling, He used to save us through the resurrection. I often wonder what I would do if I saw Jesus on the streets today. Being in the presence of someone famous, or with lots of power can be very intimidating, and often leave one awestruck and speechless. What is one thing you would say to the almighty King if He were standing in front of you right now? Praise be to God and His power to save a sinner like me!

HOW CAN I APPLY IT?
