QUESTIONS FOR THE WEEK

  1. It is incredible that Psalm 119 goes on for 176 verses just praising God! We often make it a whole day without thanking or praising God once. What is something specific that God did for you today that you should praise Him for?  Why did God do that for you? How can that change your interactions with others?
  2. One of the themes in this Psalm is that of purity (esp. vss. 9-16) – which is linked to knowing and keeping God’s word. You can actually read the entire Bible in 15 minutes a day…less time than it takes to watch commercials in an hour of TV. How often do you practice your quiet time with     God? What is a specific way you can grow in that? If you need help getting started, we can get you some great resources.
  3. In verses 105-112, the Psalmist describes how God’s Word is a light and helps in times of             difficulty and danger. Following God can be very challenging today. How can spending time in     God’s Word make it easier to follow Him? How can it give you strength to stand strong? Where do you struggle most?  Can you think of a verse that might help?
