Psalm 145:14-21 (HCSB)
14 The Lord helps all who fall;
He raises up all who are oppressed.
15 All eyes look to You,
and You give them their food at the proper time.
16 You open Your hand
and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways
and gracious in all His acts.
18 The Lord is near all who call out to Him,
all who call out to Him with integrity.
19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him;
He hears their cry for help and saves them.
20 The Lord guards all those who love Him,
but He destroys all the wicked.
21 My mouth will declare Yahweh’s praise; let every living thing praise His holy name forever and ever.

As we come to the end of Psalm 145, we see David praising God for His abundant grace and provision. God LOVES us. God KNOWS us - all the good and all the bad. Did you ever stop to think about how much grace God extends to us? On our best day, in our best moment, we still fall so short of the holiness and glory of God. Yet His grace is extended to us in all areas. Additionally, He provides EVERYTHING we need. Part of my testimony is that there was a period of time as a single mom that my income and my outcome did not match up. My ex-husband had lost his job so $1600/month of child support went away. This is a lot of money today, but 25 years ago it was just crippling. My pastor at First Baptist in Goodlettsville sat me down, sent me to Matthew 6:25-32 and told me not to worry, God will provide. ALWAYS. He told me to focus on the bills for the week, not the month, and TITHE on EVERYTHING. Be faithful to God because God is faithful to me. And He was (and is). Each week I had exactly what I needed to pay my bills. Each week God would provide a refund check, an escrow check or a Kroger gift card from a friend. Whatever I needed, it showed up, for 16 months, until I got a job with more income to replace my missing income. He provides in the short term and the long term. THIS I do praise God for often. I don’t worry about money (as long as I’m being a good steward of God’s provision). He provides. Take time to reflect on God’s provision and grace He extends to you and PRAISE HIM and have a praise filled day!
