1 Corinthians 15:42-49 (HCSB)
42 So it is with the resurrection of the dead:
Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption;
43 sown in dishonor, raised in glory;
sown in weakness, raised in power;
44 sown a natural body, raised a spiritual body.
If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit. 46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, then the spiritual.
47 The first man was from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven.
48 Like the man made of dust, so are those who are made of dust; like the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly.
49 And just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly man.

Good morning! I pray you have had a great week so far. All bad things can be turned to good, and all things we lay down to God He will raise new. Paul gives a great example here of how Adam came first as man, then Jesus came as a life-giving spirit. It is because Jesus came as man, died, and was resurrected that we have the opportunity for our spirit to be saved. The good deeds we do on Earth, with the love and good heartedness of God, sow our spiritual body in Heaven. Verse 42: “What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable.” I feel that too often we see the bounds of the world yet fulfill them; we worry about living within the bounds of God’s desires for us. It is with the resurrection of Christ that we can be assured our efforts to fulfill God’splan are well rewarded.
