Titus 2:11-15 (HCSB)
11 For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people,12 instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. 14 He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works. 15 Say these things, and encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.

The entirety of Chapters 1 and 2 of Titus are on one page in my Bible. When I turn there, I notice that I have 5 words of scripture underlined on the entire page. They come at the end of verse 15 here in Chapter 2: “Let no one disregard you”. Why are those words important to me? I mentioned in Day 1’s text about some of the interesting stories that some of you have in our congregation. There are amazing stories that some of you can share of the things that God has done in your lives that, on the surface, make my testimony seem a little, well, boring. But today’s verses remind me of a fact that I sometimes, in my humanness, can forget: this is GOD’S story. The underlined words are an important reminder to me that whenever I feel like “my” story may seem less than, it’s not about me. It’s always about HIM, and His story is the greatest ever told!
