Numbers 9:19-23 (HCSB)
19 Even when the cloud stayed over the tabernacle many days, the Israelites carried out the Lord’s requirement and did not set out. 20 Sometimes the cloud remained over the tabernacle for only a few days. They would camp at the Lord’s command and set out at the Lord’s command. 21 Sometimes the cloud remained only from evening until morning; when the cloud lifted in the morning, they set out. Or if it remained a day and a night, they moved out when the cloud lifted. 22 Whether it was two days, a month, or longer, the Israelites camped and did not set out as long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle. But when it was lifted, they set out. 23 They camped at the Lord’s command, and they set out at the Lord’s command. They carried out the Lord’s requirement according to His command through Moses.

You know, this week I didn't dissect every jot and tittle, individual word, and specific line of the scripture we read. I do that most of the time, but this time as I studied and read, I just sat and wrote what I felt the Holy Spirit urging me to write to you. Every time I speak, teach, write or even when I meet with people, I hope and pray . . . you come away more excited about Jesus. . . you fall more in love with God's Word!. . . you desire to share more of God's love with others. . . your worship for our Heavenly Father deepens. . . your faith in God is strengthened and that your faith produces works that please & honor God.. . . and so much more!! Mostly, I pray that fathers, mothers, and families learn to love each other more; that husbands and wives grow in humility to be willing to serve each other more and lay down their lives for each other.
In so doing, a lost world can see that a genuine relationship with God makes a difference! When husbands start loving like Christ loves the church and wives start being the helper God created them to be, then our children will start desiring to walk in truth and obedience and our church body will never be the same for the glory of God. I love you Church!! “May the peace of God dwell in you richly.” Colossians 3:15
