Proverbs 2:1-5 (HCSB)
Wisdom’s Worth
2 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2 listening closely to wisdom
and directing your heart to understanding; 3 furthermore, if you call out to insight and lift your voice to understanding, 4 if you seek it like silver
and search for it like hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God.

In the passage from Proverbs, Solomon imparts a profound lesson about the pursuit of wisdom and understanding. The scripture emphasizes the importance of accepting wisdom, storing commands, and actively seeking understanding. By comparing the search for wisdom to the quest for silver or hidden treasure, it points out the value and rewards of such efforts. This diligent pursuit leads to an understanding of the fear of the Lord and the discovery of the knowledge of God. Where are you searching for wisdom?
