A Note From Pastor H.D.

Hey Temple,
Can you believe we are over halfway through 2022? What Ya Gonna Do When He Comes for You…. is closer than ever before. Over the next two months we are going to read through some of the Psalms and though the entire book of Ephesians.
I hope that you are continuing to read the scriptures with us and are paying attention to the devotional notes from our congregation. I have been very impressed with what our people have had to share about the scripture.
The Psalms are literally songs for God’s people and are to be shared corporately. I hope this will help our worship grow stronger and deeper as we read, meditate, and share what the Psalms teach us about our King.
Ephesians helps us understand our position in Christ. It is never about what we have done for Him but what He has done for us. One of my favorite verses in this book is Ephesians 1:3 (HCSB)  
Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. That should make you shout and sing “Oh, What a Savior”!!
Pay attention to our Family Funday Sunday events for July. This is for everyone and you can even use these events to invite your friends and neighbors to be part of the Temple Family. Don’t miss out on all the fun.
Enjoy the rest of your summer; pray for your church as we are moving into the new sanctuary (probably in September); and remember your staff loves the people of Temple Baptist Church.
