QUESTIONS FOR THE WEEK
1. Jesus is God. He never sinned. Why would He allow a murderer (Barabbas) to be set free over Himself? What does that say about Jesus? What does that say about you?
2. Everyone in Mark 15:21-32 was mocking Jesus – the crowd, religious leaders, soldiers and even criminals. Why did pagan soldiers recognize His deity in Mark 15:39 and not in Mark 15:16-20? What happened around them and in them to make them change their minds? 3.
3. In John 19:28-30, it says that Jesus knew everything was accomplished for Scripture to be fulfilled. What are some of the prophecies He fulfilled? What are the chances those things could be fulfilled by accident? Why is it important to note that John says Jesus GAVE up His spirit (rather than something like “was killed”)?
